What applies to veterinary certificates?

For a puppy insured before it is 120 days old, the insurance applies immediately (without a waiting period of 14 days) if there is a Swedish veterinary certificate without remark. The veterinary certificate need not be more than 7 days old from the date the insurance takes effect. Therefore, your start date needs to be within 7 days of the veterinary certificate being issued. If you do not have a veterinary certificate, there will be a waiting period of 14 days.
