Your insurance is paid monthly or annually depending on the selected payment option, by credit card or direct debit.

• First payment: on your contract start date (or within 3 banking days). Depending on your contract start date, the first payment may be slightly lower or slightly higher. The easiest way to check your payments is to use our app.

• Subsequent payments: will be taken on the 1st day of each month (or within 3-5 banking days if the method used is SEPA Direct Debit).

You can manage your payments in our app or on our website, including adding or modifying your information.

At Lassie, your pet must be at least 8 weeks old to subscribe to health insurance. Furthermore, there is no upper age limit, which means we can also insure older dogs and cats. Indeed, we are convinced that every animal, regardless of age, deserves the best insurance for their health.

Yes, at Lassie, we strongly encourage you to insure all the animals in your household, both for preventive purposes and in case of injury. That's why we offer a 15% discount if you insure 2 animals and more.

To report a claim (illness or accident) for your insured animal, you have two options:

• Fill out the form in the "Insurance" section of our Lassie mobile application. This is the simplest way.

• Alternatively, you can send your claim to the following email address: sinistres@lassie.fr, making sure to mention your insurance number and include any relevant documents for the review of your claim.

You can simply send us the following documents:

• The invoice,

• The veterinarian's prescription,

• The medical claim form of Lassie.

If needed, a consultation report and medical history of your pet from your veterinarian could be asked. Please note that we need to find the following information: the diagnosis, the reason for the consultation, the date of the first symptoms and the identification number of your dog or cat (an I-CAD certificate could be requested).

If you are the happy parent of a puppy or kitten less than 120 days old, please note that you can benefit from a waiver of 30-days waiting period for diseases.

To do this, you can send us a Lassie certificate of health, within 10 days of your subscription to the following email address (the certificate must be produced after subscription): sinistres@lassie.fr

Our team will study your request as soon as possible:

• either the certificate of health is rejected and the 30-days waiting period normally applies,

• either the certificate of health is accepted and the waiting period is canceled immediately after receipt of certificate of health.

Please note: all conditions or illnesses existing and/or occurring before the subscription date will be excluded and not covered.
