How to file a claim with Lassie

If you are the proud owner of a puppy or kitten under 120 days old, please note that you are eligible for a waiver of the 30-day waiting period in the event of illness.

To do so, you can send us a Lassie health certificate within 10 days of your enrollment (the certificate must be issued after enrollment) to the following email address: sinistres@lassie.fr

Our team will review your request as soon as possible:

either the health certificate is rejected and the 30-day waiting period applies as normal,

or the health certificate is accepted, and the waiting period is waived immediately upon receipt of said health certificate.

Please note: all pre-existing conditions or illnesses and/or those that occurred before the date of enrollment will be excluded and not covered.

With Lassie, you can cancel your insurance policy without notice at the end of the first insurance period (i.e., after 12 months). After this initial period, you can cancel at any time by giving one month’s notice in writing, via our chat feature, or by email at: contact@lassie.fr 😊

Simply send us the following documents:

the invoice,

the veterinarian’s prescription,

and a Lassie treatment form.

If necessary, we may also ask for a consultation report and medical history. Please note that these documents must include the following information: the diagnosis, the reason for the consultation, the date the first symptoms appeared, and your dog’s or cat’s identification number (an I-CAD identification certificate may be required).

No, Lassie does not charge any hidden fees. We believe in complete transparency with our customers. All information regarding our rates, options, and terms and conditions is clearly stated at the time of sign-up and is available at any time on our website.
