Ingredients
300g wheat flour (approx. 5dl)
60g smooth peanut butter. Important: It's important to make sure the peanut butter you use doesn't contain Xylitol, as this istoxicto dogs. Always check the ingredients before you start – the higher the peanut content, the better!
1 apple
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
120 ml water (1.2 dl)
Gingerbread cutters
Instructions
Set your oven to 160°C fan and prepare a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Peel and grate the apple and put it in a large bowl.
Add the other ingredients to the bowl with the grated apple and mix thoroughly. For a smoother batter, we recommend sifting the flour.
Once the ingredients have formed a dough, it's time to roll it out. Lightly flour your work surface and roll the dough to about 0.6cm thick.
Cut out shapes using your gingerbread cutters and place the biscuits on the baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
Bake the biscuits in the middle of the oven for around 20 minutes, or until they have a lovely golden-brown colour.
Let the biscuits cool completely before letting your four-legged friend have a taste!
