The independent Swedish body scores insurance based on clear, weighted categories to measure how well it protects you financially if your pet has a serious illness or accident. The main criteria are:
Veterinary care coverage: the most demanding category.

For the second year in a row (2024 and 2025), Lassie received the highest score in the pet insurance category. The SKI report is based on solid data from almost 2,000 interviews. While overall market satisfaction in Sweden dropped sharply in 2025, mainly due to price increases and weaker service at several insurers, Lassie stood out – taking 1st place with 78/100, compared with a market average of 64.2. A score above 75 on this index is considered “excellent” and shows very strong customer loyalty.
